Diane Kruger looks stunning in these brand new behind-the-scenes pics from Chanel‘s latest campaign!
The 37-year-old actress chatted with DuJour about her relationship withChanel and her beauty regime – here’s what she had to share:
On her relationship with Karl Lagerfeld: “My first shoot as a model was for Karl Lagerfeld! I immediately fell under the charm of his kindness and his sense of humor, and, of course, our German roots brought us closer. This happy coincidence gave us an inseparable connection.”
On her beauty as she ages: “Even though I loved being 20, I’m not nostalgic about my beauty at that time. However, I am nostalgic about all of my first times: the first time that I kissed someone, the first time that I saw New York…. I realized that I had to live fully in the moment and open myself to others or life would pass me by. If I’m happier now, then I’m more beautiful than I was before.”
On her beauty routine for events: “My experience as a model taught me the right tips and tricks to enhance my features, so I prefer to do my own makeup. I want above all to look like myself. Feeling beautiful is a private emotion. This helps me put things in perspective, accept myself as I am and no longer undertake an insatiable quest for perfection.”
Jennifer Aniston shows her legs for days in a Narciso Rodriguez dress on the cover of Glamour‘s September 2013 issue, on newsstands August 6.
Here’s what the 44-year-old We’re the Millersstar, interviewed by her co-star Jason Sudeikis, had to share with the mag:
On her fiance Justin Theroux: “I know Justin, for instance, has extremely amazing paternal instincts. Because [growing up] he had to sort of become the parent. I think when you have to become the parent when you’re a younger person, you learn those instincts.”
On relating to Jason’s fianceeOlivia Wilde‘s controversial sex speech: “I was so pissed. Because I related to it — I related to that f**king feeling of people just wanting to rip down the powerful, beautiful woman who [speaks her mind]. Stuff like that’s so sh*tty. I don’t like injustice. We’re living in a time where, whether it’s the Internet or tabloids, being sh*tty has become a sport. We’re just grown-up bullies. We literally could not need to have our hearts more open than in these times.”
On becoming happy: “[But] you can undo a lot of things. If you’re not happy, you can become happy. Happiness is a choice. That’s the thing I really feel. Like with friends who refuse to get happy, who refuse to rise above the discomfort of where they’re at. You actually deserve to have a family. And once you meet yourself, and truly love yourself, then you attract that. And look—I mean, [Jason and I] found these two, beautiful, loving, open people.”
